New Online Business Trends Of 2014

By Kamil Hamad

Here are a few of the most important online business trends in 2014. One of the biggest online business trends in 2014 is content marketing. Content marketing makes up a very large industry where various companies improve their customer approval by releasing useful and valuable content through a variety of different outlets.

Affiliate marketing has been around for quite some time now, but it has evolved to the point that so many different business niches are involved. All different types of people are finding out they can make money online promoting products they are passionate about.

Most people don't want to spend hours being barraged by offensive advertisements. Companies are finding newer, less-invasive techniques for marketing and advertising to their targeted demographic. What's most important is that relevant content always exists online. It seems that the content is king and the advertisements are becoming second-rate citizens. The average customer doesn't spend more than ten seconds deciding whether they like or want a particular product or offer. That's how long a company has to appeal to their consumers.

"Staying simple" isn't really enough to catch up with the latest trends in mobile marketing. As a matter of fact, a company should have mobile devices in mind from the moment they begin marketing. Studies suggest that 87% of people with phones will be using smart phones by the year 2017. That's a huge audience that may not have internet access on a computer, but still has access via their smartphones.

Most of these social media websites include unique advertising options for business. Facebook specifically has an incredible advertising package that allows for targeted advertisements to reach very specific demographics using a variety of consumer information and "tags" created on the different Facebook accounts.

It's an entirely different world, but in order for a company to get the most, they need to appeal to mobile users and PC users with the same campaign.
