Turn Likes Into Profits With Facebook Marketing

By Estrella Plahs

Lots of people use Facebook as a means of passing the time. But, when used for marketing purposes, Facebook can be used a great way to spend your time. Tons of people are on Facebook every day. If you are able to reach out to those people then the results will be amazing. Learn how below.

All content on your site should be easy to Like and Share on Facebook. It should also appear in shortened form with a link on your Facebook wall. If people are able to share your content with their followers, you'll find that your reach begins to expand exponentially, and so will your profits. Facebook Offers is a great tool for running contests or giving away free products through your website. Set up your offer and switch it to Promoted Post via your Wall. You can promote it outside your fan base if you feel it is a great offer.

If you're having trouble gaining followers, you can offer a sweepstakes in return for their "Like". Just place the sweepstakes in a tab on your company's page and have them fill it out with their email address, specifying that only those who Like your page will be eligible for the contest.

If you're working on building your fan base, consider using "Like Ads". These are ads that include a call to action to Like your page right from the ad itself. These ads seem to be just as effective in the News Feed as they are in the right column, so play with the placement.

Utilize custom tabs. This organizes your information and keeps your site professional. If you have a current promotion, make a special tab for that. Post regularly on your Facebook page. Don't just create your business page, make several posts the first day, and then stop posting for several months. Not keeping your page updated frequently shows your audience that you don't care that much. If you need this Facebook page for your business, then stick to some kind of posting schedule.

Share other content from other platforms on your Facebook page. Does your business have a website? A blog? A YouTube channel? Any time you upload new content related to your business, make sure it shows up on your Facebook Page as well. People are much more likely to be visiting Facebook the day you upload a new video than they are to be visiting your business's YouTube channel.

Do not constantly share business related posts with your audience. While some people may want to hear this type of information regularly, others may find it quite boring. You should try your best to focus your postings on your products, and post less about the way your business actually works.

Keep track of how your page is doing. Monitor your Facebook page's traffic. What sort of posts and content seem to get the most attention from your customers? Take note of what really seems to interest people and what doesn't. Keep track of this information so that you can better plan for the future.

As you now know, Facebook marketing can be extremely advantages in helping your business grow. It won't be easy, and there is a lot of work involved, but if you use the information given earlier, there is no reason why it can't work for you. Implement the tips mentioned and take your business to a whole new level.
